The revolutionary new product represents leading edge technology in high performance form tapping. The HPF, a must for those high production form-tapping jobs, is initially available in metric fine pitch only, with INF sizes available in 2006.

available in 2The HPF form tap is the only tap with a replaceable carbide insert on a steel body. The carbide insert allows you to run at cutting speeds 2 to 3 times faster than that of HSS or form taps. Additionally, the excellent wear resistant characteristics of the carbide insert leads to tremendous tool life, and very low cost per hole.
