LMT USA Return Policy

•  Items for return must be unaltered, in new condition and in original packaging.
•  “Standard” items returned after 30 days of the invoice, date will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
• Items purchased more than 365 days (12 months) prior to the return request date cannot be returned for credit.
• Call 1-800-225-0852 and request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.
• LMT USA will not accept any item without an RGA number.  Items shipped to LMT USA without the RGA # visible on the shipping label will be refused and returned to the sender.
• A valid return reason is required.
• Incomplete items returned for credit will be shipped back to the customer unless authorization is provided in advance of the return.
• “Inventory Reduction” items cannot be returned for credit unless defective-exchange for the same item only.  Defect must be clearly indicated for the return.  In the event additional stock is unavailable, credit will be issued once the defect is verified by LMT USA.  Items with no defect will be returned to the customer-no credit will be issued.
• “Discontinued” and “Obsolete” tools are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for credit.
• “Non-Standard”, “Modified Standard” and “Special Order” items cannot be returned for credit.
• Returned Test Tooling must be accompanied by a LMT Value Analysis Report for credit.
• Retain the tracking number as a record of your return. We assume no responsibility for the item until we have received and signed for the item at our warehouse.
• This RGA does not constitute a credit.  Returns normally take 3-5 days once received for credit decision.
• A separate order is required for replacement items.
• Refunds will be credited only to the original purchasing account number.
• Your RGA # is only valid for 30 days.  If your items are not returned within 30 days from the RGA issue date, a new RGA # is required.
• Distributors may request an annual return of “Standard” items purchased within 12 months of the request date.
  • Annual returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • “Discontinued”, “Obsolete”, “Inventory Reduction” tools cannot be returned.

• Items purchased more than 365 days (12 months) prior to the return request date cannot be returned for credit.
• The restocking fee is waived when an offsetting order of equal or greater value to the RGA is placed on the same day.
